STEP 1:

To make a difference, FIRST find out who to contact! This lookup tool can help you easily find the contact details for your local senators, congress people, and state representatives. Representatives track every contact they get (email, phone or letter) and when they go to vote on an issue, they run reports to see how many constituents contacted them on the voting topic. Don't let your representative think no one is paying attention to our National Parks and Public Lands! They need to hear from you directly!

STEP 3:

Once your message is ready, it’s time to send your message on its way! You can either send it via email, make a phone call, or send by traditional mail. Every contact method is valuable! The more personalized the better, but even a quick message will have an impact. Remember to include your contact information so they can respond. Multiple letters are great, but letters from multiple constituents have a greater impact.

Your Voice Can Save Our Parks:
Contact Your representatives!

It doesn’t matter how you contact your representative, whether its by letter, email, or phone call. The only thing that matters is that you contact them today!

Every representative tracks the issues they are contacted about and who reaches out to them. Then when it comes time to vote on critical issues, they run a report to see how many constituents have raised their concerns. The more people who speak up, the bigger the impact. You can even send multiple messages, but the most powerful change comes when a diverse group of people makes their voice heard. Share this campaign with your friends, family, and community and ask them to take action, too. When multiple voices unite in support of our National Parks and Public Lands, we have the power to create real, lasting change!
